The upper leather consists of aniline-dyed buffalo leather. The surface has a robust structure with a strong grain. It is one of the most resistant.types of leather. Very soft and supple making it ideal for sensitive feet. Surface develops a vivid pattina over time. In the past it was frequently used to cover suitcases and overseas luggage because of its sturdiness.

The insole is double-stitched. Beneath the insole is a layer of cork, providing additional resilience and insulation. The triple outsole consists of two layers of leather and a rubber sole.
